Cultural Connections

ORC International's Cultural Connections assists organisations to better understand Australia's culturally and linguistically diverse society.

Our ability to interview in over 28 languages means that we can speak to all the key Australian multicultural communities, both long established and recently arrived.

Many of our research team come from first or second generation immigrant families and we pride ourselves on being able to empathise with, and understand the experiences of, individuals from these communities. We build upon this understanding to ensure that research takes into account the circumstances of each individual community.

We also have specialist expertise in the conduct of research among the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, including in rural and remote locations. When conducting research with indigenous communities we adhere to relevant cultural protocols and a two-way research process.
